C4 is the colour most associated with the word "champagne diamond," and this 0.32ct oval cut carries that classic tone confidently despite its smaller size. The oval's elongated shape and brilliant-style faceting scatter the golden colour into small, shifting flashes rather than a flat wash, so the stone reads as bright and lively rather than muted. Ovals also carry a natural visual advantage: their length-to-width ratio makes them appear larger on the hand than the carat weight alone would suggest, helping a smaller stone hold genuine presence. It comes from the East Kimberley region of Western Australia, the source of every Argyle diamond mined before the pipe's closure ended production for good.
