At just under a third of a carat, this oval cut still delivers a genuinely rich C5 colour — proof that the strength of a champagne grade has little to do with size. The oval's elongated shape and brilliant-style faceting keep that golden tone moving rather than static, breaking it into small flashes that shift and catch the light differently depending on the angle. It's a stone that carries real presence for its weight, helped along by the oval's natural tendency to look larger on the hand than the carat figure alone suggests. It comes from the East Kimberley region of Western Australia, mined before the Argyle pipe's closure ended production of these diamonds permanently.
