At C5, this 0.33 carat radiant cut sits comfortably in the middle of the champagne spectrum — a balanced gold tone, neither pale nor deeply amber. The radiant cut's clean, angular facets bring brightness to that mid-range colour, keeping the stone lively and expressive even at a smaller carat weight.
Its origin is shared with every stone in this collection — the Argyle mine in Western Australia, closed now, its stones no longer being drawn from the earth. There will be no more of these. At a third of a carat, this is one of the collection's more delicate pieces — a subtle, versatile stone that still carries the same finite provenance as its larger counterparts.
