Why we chose this stone

C3 is where champagne diamonds start to feel closer to white than brown — a pale, straw-gold tone with just enough warmth to set it apart from a colourless stone, without tipping into anything heavy. In this 0.50ct emerald cut, that lightness plays out beautifully: the long step-cut facets don't need to work hard to show colour that's already this subtle, so what comes through instead is clarity and glow rather than saturation. It's a quieter kind of champagne diamond, and for a lot of buyers, that's exactly the appeal — colour without commitment to it. Like every Argyle stone, it was mined from the East Kimberley region of Western Australia before the pipe's closure ended the supply for good.
