Why we chose this stone
C6 sits in the middle of the champagne spectrum — warmer than the palest golds, but without the deep, amber intensity of the higher grades. This 0.53 carat radiant cut wears that balance well; the cut's angular facets give the colour movement and sparkle, keeping a mid-tone champagne diamond from ever reading as flat.
Like every stone in this collection, its origin is the Argyle mine in Western Australia — a source now closed for good, its stones no longer being drawn from the earth. There will be no more of these. At just over half a carat, this is an easy, versatile size with a colour that suits everyday wear as much as a considered gift, carrying provenance that's becoming harder to find with each passing year
