Why we chose this stone

The marquise cut has always been about maximising presence — its elongated, pointed shape makes a stone look larger than its carat weight suggests, and at 0.62ct, this one already has size to work with. Paired with a C4 grade, one of the warmer, more classic champagne tones, the effect is a diamond that looks substantial from across the room and rewards a closer look with genuine colour depth. It was mined from the East Kimberley region of Western Australia, the source of every Argyle diamond before the mine's closure brought that supply to an end.
