Why we chose this stone
This 0.70 carat radiant cut carries a C4 grade — the deeper, richer register of the champagne spectrum, closer to burnished gold than pale honey. The radiant cut gives it a lively, angular sparkle, and against a colour this saturated, that brilliance reads as warmth rather than flash — the kind of stone that holds attention without needing to be large to do it.
Its origin is the same as every stone in this collection — the Argyle mine in Western Australia, closed now, its stones no longer being drawn from the earth. There will be no more of these. At 0.70 carats, this is proof that rarity isn't only measured in size. A smaller stone carrying this depth of colour, from a source that no longer exists, is its own kind of statement — compact, considered, and genuinely finite.
