A pear step cut is a distinctive take on a familiar shape, pairing the soft teardrop outline with long, parallel facets that give the stone a clean, glassy look. At 1.01 carats, this natural diamond has a graceful, tapering profile that draws the eye along its length, and the stepped faceting lets light move across the surface in broad, calm bands rather than small sparks. It was mined in the Kimberley region of Western Australia, an origin that has been out of production since the Argyle mine closed in 2020, which gives the stone real rarity for collectors and for anyone seeking something more individual than a round brilliant. It is sold loose, so the setting is entirely your choice, and a mine certificate of authenticity is included to confirm its Western Australian provenance..
